Reserving A Classroom

When scheduling a classroom:

  • Your organization MUST have current registration with Student Organization Leadership and Engagement (SOLE) before reserving a classroom
  • One room per group per week AND maximum of 2 hours starting at 6:00 p.m. for the first three weeks of every quarter
  • Reservations must be made by one of the 3 signatories from your organization in person
  • Reservations must be made at least 5 or more business days prior to your first meeting date

When scheduling outdoor/multi-venue events:

  • When scheduling a multi-venue conference, please schedule rooms at least 3 weeks or more in advance
  • Send a detailed e-mail describing your conference, including the information below:

- Date
- Time
- Estimated attendance
- Number of classrooms
- Capacity needed for each classroom – you may specify classrooms and availability will be checked
- Detailed requirements for classroom (such as room w/movable chairs, projector, etc.)
- Require an outdoor space for food service (food and beverages are not permitted in the classrooms)
- Indoor/outdoor activities
- Will food be prepared on site or catered
- Will event require amplified sound

  • No classrooms will be scheduled on University holidays (including holiday weekends)
  • No classrooms will be scheduled during Finals week or Commencement weekend
  • Your event is not confirmed until your SOLE advisor has approved the Events OnLine Application (EOL)
  • The Events OnLine Application can only be sent to a signatory
